Saturday, June 8th: • Weather: 74°, winds ENE 9mph, rain chance 10%. • 11a: Mandatory Captain and Copilot brunch meeting at Dockside. There is ample parking along the seawall. You will need to raft off so please be prepared. • 12p: Start your engines! • 12:30p: Staggered start under the highway 41 bridge on Lake Butte des Mortes. • 12:30p-4p: Refer to the map for the route. Please keep in mind that we are watching the high water conditions/no wake zones and will make adjustments as necessary. Our last stop is Streich’s, a local sand bar, so please be prepared to tie up and enjoy (what looks like) a beautiful day! • 5p-6p: Back to The Shed (on the event grounds, just behind the bar) for card turn in and “Dun With The Run” happy hour. • 6p-7p: Awards, guest speakers, live auction, 50/50 raffle. • 7p-8p: Dinner. • 8p: Live DJ at Dockside. • 8:01p: I go home ;) RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. A POKER RUN IS NOT A RACE. 2. PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICES MUST BE WORN BY ALL PARTICIPANTS AT ALL TIMES. PFDs MUST BE COAST GUARD APPROVED AND CONFORM TO AN INDIVIDUAL’S SIZE AND WEIGHT. 3. PACE BOATS ARE OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE AND ALL DRIVERS MUST COMPLY WITH AND FOLLOW THE LEAD BEHIND THE PACE BOAT. A MINIMUM DISTANCE OF 300 FEET MUST BE MAINTAINED. 4. PASSING THE PACE BOAT RESULTS IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION. 5. IDENTIFICATION STICKERS MUST BE TEMPORARILY AFFIXED TO THE BOAT IN A VISIBLE POSITION NEAR THE HELM. 6. ALCOHOL MUST NOT BE CONSUMED DURING THE RUN BY THE CAPTAIN 7. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ISSUED WRIST BANDS WHICH MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. NO WRIST BAND– NO ACCESS. 8. DRIVERS MUST WEAR AN IGNITION SAFETY TETHER FOR THE SAFETY OF EVERYONE ON BOARD. 9. PARTICIPANTS MUST LOOK BEHIND TO SIGNAL A SPEED REDUCTION OR COME OFF PLANE BY ALL ON BOARD BY WAVING THEIR ARMS OVER THEIR HEADS AND SHOULD ALWAYS OBEY NO WAKE, AND SPEED RESTRICTIONS. 10. IN CASE OF A BREAKDOWN OR ACCIDENT, PARTICIPANTS MUST HOLD THEIR POSITION AS BEST AS POSSIBLE AND AS A COURTESY TO ONCOMING BOATERS YOU SHOULD SLOW DOWN AND CHECK ON A DISABLED BOATER. 11. FOR THE SAFETY OF THE CREW AND OTHER BOATERS, PARTICIPANTS MUST PICK A LANE AND STICK TO IT. A SAFETY ZONE OF AT LEAST 200 FEET ON ALL SIDES IS RECOMMENDED. LANE CHANGES MUST BE ACCOMPLISHED IN A SAFE MANNER. ALWAYS CHECK!!! PARTICIPANTS MUST ENSURE THAT THEIR BOAT CARRIES SUFFICIENT FUEL TO REACH THE NEXT SCHEDULED STOP. 12.
